How much time does it take to set up a company?
LogCall can set up your company (parent company) It can be as quick as 2 hours or one working day. Thereafter all the set-ups are yours, including your own users, your own client's companies (child companies) and their users. (We aim to have all set-ups automated soon.)
What is a "parent" company and a "child" company?
An important part of the LogCall structure is the levels of companies: one parent company (who is registered with us) can set up many child companies (these would be the companies requiring services from the parent company). All companies have users attached to them.
Is there a limit to the number of users or companies I can have on LogCall?
No - you can create as many user logins for a company (parent or child) as you like, in the Administration screens (you are charged by usage, not the number of users) - each user will be sent their login details to the email you specify for them.
Is the system customisable?
Yes - we can make customisations, we can write special reports and functions, for your company, ask us. Also we can install LogCall in-house at a negotiable price.
Can I import data from another source?
Yes (in most cases) - you will need to contact us to discuss your requirements and the kind of import you need.
Can I convert my test information into a live system?
Yes - you will need to contact us, but we have set up the system with this possibility in mind.
Will it work effectively with a dial up internet connection?
Yes - the system was written originally with only a dial up connection and we have tried to keep it simple to use and download
Can I create a call from an email?
No - this may seem a disadvantage, but our experience has shown emailed calls when received involve more time for the receiver to work out the priority, problem and area, as users often do not email all the information correctly. Using LogCall users cannot spam up your system and have the screen displays to remind them of relevant information, cutting down your response times. Also giving each user a login does not cost more. |
